Privacy policy
Stand: Oktober 2026
1. Privacy at a glance
This website processes personal data as sparingly as possible. Operating the website (hosting) generates technical data. We also process the details you provide when you contact us via the contact form or by email. Chats with the Apollo assistant are not stored, because Apollo runs entirely in your browser.
This website currently uses no analytics or tracking services. If we ever add an analytics tool in the future, it will only be used after your explicit consent via our cookie banner.
2. Verantwortlicher
The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
Apollo (Einzelunternehmen)
Inhaber: Arian Parsa
Gersterstrasse 03
04279 Leipzig
Deutschland
E-Mail: kontakt@apollo-technologies.de
The fastest way to reach us is through our contact form on the “Contact” page. We do not currently offer telephone contact.
3. Hosting bei Netlify
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA (“Netlify”). Netlify provides the technical servers through which the website is accessed on the internet.
When the website is accessed, Netlify automatically processes technical access data (see section 4) to deliver the website, protect it against attacks and ensure smooth operation. The use of the host is based on a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
4. Server-Logfiles
When a page is accessed, server log files typically record: your IP address (truncated or anonymised where the provider supports this), date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page (referrer), browser type and operating system, and the amount of data transferred.
This data serves the technical operation, error analysis and security of the website. It is not merged with other data sources and not used for advertising. How long Netlify stores log data follows from the provider’s privacy statement.
4a. Map service in the NEXIS demo
Only if you open the NEXIS demo at /produkte/nexis/demo/ does your browser load map data (map tiles and fonts) from the OpenFreeMap service (tiles.openfreemap.org). Your IP address and technical request data are transmitted to the operator of that service. Operator: [Check and insert the provider’s name and address].
We provide the map libraries themselves from our own server. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning map display (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Contact form and email enquiries
When you send us an enquiry via the contact form or demo form, or write us an email, we process your details to answer your enquiry. The form requires your name, email address and message; all further fields are optional.
Technical process: the forms on this website are handled by Netlify’s form service (Netlify Forms). Your entries are transmitted to Netlify on submission, processed there for delivery of the enquiry, and forwarded to us.
To protect against spam, a hidden field is included that only machines fill in (honeypot); no personal data is stored in this process.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (enquiries ahead of a potential contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
We delete your enquiry data once your enquiry has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
6. Apollo, the digital assistant
This website offers the chat assistant “Apollo”. Apollo answers questions about services, products, prices and our process.
Apollo runs entirely in your browser and accesses only a knowledge base that is an integral part of the website. Your questions and the answers are not transmitted to any AI provider or external service, not stored on our servers and not analysed. Once you close the chat window or leave the page, the chat history is gone completely.
There is therefore no automated decision-making and no profiling, and Apollo uses no cookies and no local storage.
If we later connect Apollo to an AI backend service (e.g. to process questions with a language model), we would describe that in detail here beforehand and activate it only after your explicit consent.
7. Cookies and local storage
The website uses no tracking cookies. Only the following settings are stored locally in your browser (so-called “local storage”):
“ap-theme” stores whether you view the website in light or dark design, so the setting survives your next visit.
“ap-cookies” stores whether you chose “Only necessary” or “Accept all” in the cookie banner, so the banner does not appear again.
These entries are technically necessary or serve your convenience only. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; you can delete them at any time by choosing “Cookie settings” in the footer or clearing your browser’s storage.
For technical reasons, the hosting service may set its own technically necessary cookies.
8. Analytics and statistics
We currently use no analytics or statistics tools. Usage data is not evaluated for statistical or marketing purposes and no data is transferred to advertising networks. If we later add an analytics tool, we will load it only after your consent in the cookie banner and describe it here beforehand.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to free information about your personal data stored with us (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
If you have given consent, you may revoke it at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, write to us at kontakt@apollo-technologies.de or use our contact form.
10. Beschwerderecht
If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection regulations, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority:
